How to search Google Images from Chrome addressbar?

Ever since google's instant search was integrated into the address bar, the feature had been so addictive that typing a search text in the google search box is close to none.

Here is a sample search text with autocomplete suggestions from google.

The search however displays the list of websites. Is there a way to search directly for images instead of the default web search results?

Here is a step-by-step how-to.

Step 1 : Right click on Google Images search box and select 'Add As Search Engine'.

Step 2 : In the dialog box that pops, give the name as 'Google Image'. The name can be any descriptive string. Give the keyword as 'images'. They keyword resolves the search engine for the address bar. Give the url as http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&source=hp&q=%s&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2. Save the dialog.

Step 3: Prefix the search text with 'image' followed by a space. Now the search is performed against Google Images.
